HOW TO FIND US: 

Stanton in Peak is a picturesque village on a hillside between Matlock and Bakewell. 

Depending which way you enter the village - if you travel up through the village at the top there is a left hand fork  to Stanton Lees , as the road goes round to the right towards Birchover. We are the last house on the left hand side on Lees Road (left hand fork to Stanton Lees), having a large open driveway. 

The house name is by the front door  - not on the road side.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings:

2 night minimum stay. 

Payment: 

When making a booking, you are entering an agreement with us.

For stays of 2 - 4 nights - all bookings require a non-refundable deposit of one nights stay, per room. 

For extended stays of 5 nights and more - all bookings require a non-refundable deposit of two nights stay, per room.

Final payment upon departure please. We take card / bank transfer / cheque or cash.

Confirmation of your booking will be sent out by email .

Cancellations:

For cancellations made up to 4 weeks in advance of your booking, you will be liable for the booking deposit. 

For cancellations after this time, you will be liable for 50% of the whole stay. 

Non-availability:

We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable due to reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would gladly refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund. 

Arrival / Departure:

Arrivals after 4pm - departures by 11am - unless by prior arrangement.

During your stay we will require access to your room between 11am and 3pm for house keeping. If you are not planning on being out during these hours please let us know. 

Damages and breakages:

Please take care of our property. You will be liable for any significant breakages or damages which you cause. We please ask that you report these as soon as they occur. We will charge for any wilful damage caused. 

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicle or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

Smoking:

We run a non-smoking policy throughout the house. 

Pets:

Sorry, unfortunately we do not allow pets,  as we have a dog of our own. 

Data:

At the time of booking we take names and a contact telephone number, as well as email address to confirm the booking. This information is not shared with any third party, nor is it used for marketing purposes. If you do not  wish us to hold this information on the computer  - please let us know at the time of booking.

COVID 19:

We are required by law to take contact details upon arrival - which we must keep for 21 days - for the track and trace program. After which they will be distroyed. 

Enhanced cleaning policies / procedures are in place to make your stay as safe as possible. Social distancing rules apply at all times. If you were to feel ill whilst here - we ask that you stay in your room, until you are able to return home for self isolation. Your co-operation is much appreciated.
